For those who visited our model homes during the BATC Spring
Preview, thanks. We had a
great turn-out. The market
has definitely improved in the past several months in our area, and
interest rates are down! Be sure
and check out our BATC Fall
Parade Home in Indigo Ponds.
The event runs from September 6 through October 5.
The hours are 4-7PM Thursday and Friday, and
12-6PM on week-ends.
This home is also showcased in the Parade mini-tour featuring Landsted’s
“backyard vacation,” highlighting a spectacular in-ground pool.
We have many wonderful home-sites available in the
developments below. We will
also build on any lot within a forty minute drive of our offices in
Hudson, and are very familiar with other home-site
opportunities, including the St. Croix River.

As mentioned in our last newsletter, we have
refocused our emphasis on energy efficiency and healthy home features
here at Landsted. Given the
current high cost of energy, our responsibility to be good stewards of
this planet and with the rapidly expanding products and technology
available, I am proud to say that the homes we are building now are far
more energy efficient than those of just a few years ago.
Our company now offers a series of products which
offer substantial long-term energy savings. These products not only
allow our clients to better manage their long-term energy costs, but
help preserve our precious resources and environment as well
and make your home more
comfortable. We’d be happy
to provide you with a list of the various energy-efficiency, healthy
home and sustainable products we recommend.

Landsted is currently building in three fine
neighborhoods in Western Wisconsin, and one in
Minnesota:
Indigo Ponds, five miles east of Hudson, is a wonderful neighborhood.
All lots are heavily wooded, and most are suitable for walk-outs.
The 53 lots share miles of trails and beautiful spring-fed ponds
suitable for canoeing, fishing, and swimming.

Starr Wood,
just north of Hudson,
has only a few lots left; some of the best.

Starr Wood residents also enjoy the
Hudson
School District.
Hills of Troy, located just north of
Wisconsin 35 between Hudson and River Falls off Coulee Trail, is a
family-friendly neighborhood and truly outstanding.
A master-planned community with
trails, athletic fields, tennis courts and more…and in a beautiful
setting just five minutes from the Hudson bridge.

Hills of Troy
is in the top notch River
Falls School

Tii Gavo, just south of Scandia, Minnesota,
features lots of over an acre in a fabulous preservation designed
community featuring woods, trails, wetlands, and private boat slips with
access to Big Marine Lake, one of the clearest in the state.
Tii Gavo is in the
Forest
Lake school system.

Any of these neighborhoods would be a great choice
for your new home, less than 30 minutes from the airport or St. Paul.
They offer privacy, yet have a sense of community, small town
charm and great amenities.

We have lived in this area our whole lives.
